Why my first published book is not my frist written book

When I came up with the idea for #IfYouWereHere, I had already written two other books. However, there was always a lingering feeling—an absence, as if someone was missing from the story, or perhaps from my own journey as a writer. More than that, I wasn’t ready to share my deepest thoughts with the world just yet. My previous books carried pieces of me, but something held me back from letting them go fully. More -»

But #IfYouWereHere was different. This time, I felt a sense of clarity and readiness that I hadn't experienced before. The story wasn’t just words on a page; it was something deeply personal, something I wanted to share. It wasn’t about filling a void but rather embracing it—allowing myself to write freely, without hesitation, and connect with readers in a way I never had before.

I have decided to speak with the reader directly, like I am telling a story from my life. Of course the stories from the book were gathered during my travels from different couples, but I have decided to unite them and just share as a whole in one story filled with motivation, love and friendship.

When I have started to write #IfYouWereHere I was 25 years old, and my life was full of traveling and new experiences. Of course I have finished whole book only a year after, but I have included there all experience I had during that year. And yet, even after finishing I continued to edit it to make it the way I want. And only a year after that, it had its current form.

And end of last year, I have finally decided to publish it on Amazon. Yes, it took for me long time to finally be brave and decide to share my piece with the public. I know it is my first published book, and maybe that is why I am also worry about the interaction with the public, but I will never know the value of what I am writing until I share it. So here we are.... Hope you will enjoy it as I did while writing....
